How it works
Every household has organizers and members. Organizers keep things running, members get things done, and most adults are a bit of both.
Organizers
The ones with the plan. Organizers build the schedule, hand out extra tasks, answer requests and keep track of what's been paid. Have more than one if you like.
Members
Anyone with chores to do. Each member pairs their own phone, and it shows them today's list. They don't need an account, an email address or a phone number.

Set up the week
Add your chores and drop each one onto the right day for the right person. That's your week, and it repeats until you change it.

Pair each phone
Share a link and everyone pairs their own phone. From then on, it opens straight to today.

Let the days run
Each morning, today's chores are waiting. Reminders go out to anyone who wants them, and at the end of the day you can see how it really went.
Nothing to install
No app storeChoreAlert lives in your browser, so the icon on your home screen is just a shortcut: full screen, always paired, nothing to download or update. On iPhone, it's also what makes notifications possible.
One week, or two
The default
One week, repeating
Most households set up one week and leave it. Tuesday's chores are Tuesday's chores, every week, until you move them.
Optional
Two weeks, alternating
Is this a recycling week? One week it's trash, the next it's trash and recycling. Turn on A/B weeks, set up both, and ChoreAlert keeps them straight, so nobody has to ask again.
What else it can do
One notification, not a stream
A nudge fifteen minutes before a chore is due, and a heads-up when something changes. Nothing nags twice, and chores without a due time stay quiet.
Defer, redo, carry over
Life happens. Members can ask to move a chore, organizers can send one back for a redo, and a missed chore can be picked up today instead.
Extra tasks, any time
One-off jobs that aren't part of the routine. Hand one to someone, or post it up for grabs and see who takes it. Members can set private reminders of their own, too.
Pay for the work
Entirely optional. Put a dollar amount on any chore or task, and each member gets a running statement of what they've earned, what they've been paid and what's owed. Export it any time.
Swaps between members
Members can trade today's chores between themselves. If a trade isn't even, or needs a sign-off, an organizer gets the final say.
A board for the wall
Turn a spare tablet or old laptop into the household board: today's chores, big enough to read from across the room, and one tap to mark them done.
Built for a household, not an audience
Your household's business stays in the household. No ads, no trackers, and the only email address we keep is the organizer's.

Members are just a name. No email, no phone number, no account. Reminders go to the phone they paired, not to an address on file, because there isn't one.

Organizers always sign in with two factors. A password plus an emailed code or authenticator app, or a passkey.

No text messages, ever. Reminders are notifications on a phone each person chose to pair, and anyone can turn them off.

The board shows the day, and nothing more. No balances, no private reminders, nothing from any other household.
