For years, our household managed chores using printed charts and whiteboards—a system that worked well when our children were young. However, as they grew, these traditional methods failed to engage them. Our children increasingly relied on their mobile devices for daily interactions, making anything outside of these devices practically non-existent to them.
This realization prompted us to innovate. We transitioned from paper and pens to a digital solution that integrates seamlessly into the technology-centric lives of modern families. choreAlert was born from the need to streamline how chores are communicated and managed in our household.
choreAlert sends daily text messages detailing each family member's responsibilities, eliminating common excuses such as "I forgot," "I didn’t know it was my turn," or "Nobody told me." While choreAlert won’t solve every challenge in household management, it significantly simplifies the management and assignment of daily and weekly chores.
To ensure choreAlert meets the needs of every family member, regardless of age or phone access, we offer flexible notification options. You can choose text notifications for family members who use mobile phones and printed chore charts for those who don’t. This dual approach allows everyone to stay informed and engaged with their daily responsibilities.
